Oxford LIfe Insurance Company

Family Life Insurance Company

Oxford Life™ Insurance Company (Oxford Life™) was founded in 1965 in the Grand Canyon state of Arizona and is a member of AMERCO ®, a publicly traded financial holding network. Amerco's other significant holdings include U-Haul ® International and Republic Western Insurance Company.

Our strength is reflected in our continued growth and stability with a marketing strategy focused upon providing quality life, annuities and Medicare supplement insurance for the senior market. In 1997, we expanded our services with the acquisition of Encore Financial, Inc., a Wisconsin based insurance holding company, which owns the stock of North American Insurance Company (NAI), a company with an outstanding record as a third party administrator of Medicare supplement insurance programs. Then in 2000, Oxford Life™ further expanded its growth and distribution in the Medicare supplement market with the acquisition of Christian Fidelity Life Insurance Company ™ (Christian Fidelity).

In early 2006, this growth in the senior market continued with Christian Fidelity's acquisition of Dallas General Insurance Company ™ and its block of Medicare supplement insurance in Texas.

In 2003, Oxford Life™ qualified to become a member of the Insurance Marketplace Standards Association (IMSA), the national organization dedicated to promoting high ethical standards in the marketing, selling and servicing of individually sold life insurance, annuities and long-term care insurance. IMSA is a voluntary, non-profit organization created in 1996 to strengthen consumer trust and confidence in the insurance industry. As a member, we commit to maintain high ethical standards and to be fair, honest, and open in the way we advertise, sell and service our products. In doing so, Oxford Life™ and its subsidiaries remain fully committed to the continuity of quality service.
